Here in Tennessee, the Pigeon Forge/Gatlinburg area is filled with one-of-a-kind restaurants to delight the palate of anyone. Today we’ve rounded up our top three most unique foodie finds for you to explore next time you’re in the area.

Ole Red’s

Created by renowned singer and performer, Blake Shelton, and named after his hit, “Ol’ Red”, this restaurant is a new hot-spot for fun times, great food, and amazing music. With live music from up-and-coming artists and finger-licking foods like their signature “Ober Gatlinburger” or “Champagne of Fried Chicken,” you’re sure to have an unforgettable time. Reservations are available ahead of time if you want to ensure you get a good seat. Ole Red is open as early as 11 a.m., with live music playing all day, seven days a week. The Old Mill

Located on the banks of the Pigeon River, this former 1800s grist mill is home to delicious southern comfort food, perfect for the whole family. Rated one of the top 50 best breakfasts by Food & Wine, this Southern classic is open for breakfast, lunch, and dinner. Come in early at 8 a.m. for fluffy buttermilk pancakes or cinnamon raisin french toast, or end your day with delicious Southern-fried chicken. The best part? If you fall in love with any of the dishes you have while at The Old Mill, you can take home fresh baked goods from their in-house bakery, or check out their country store for make-at-home gravy, pancake, and biscuit mixes. Old Dad’s

Hungry for a classic deli meal? Old Dad’s General Store and Deli, near Light 10 in Gatlinburg, has your bases covered. They offer a mouth-watering selection of sandwiches, breakfast biscuits, and more. Fill up on a bacon, egg and cheese biscuit, or a fresh Reuben sandwich. Plus, if you love the meats and cheeses that you enjoy with your meal, you can purchase them by the pound at their deli counter. You can also grab a picnic lunch for your hiking excursion in the Smokies. While you’re there, be sure to check out their hand-dipped ice cream and milkshakes, or homemade pastries and desserts.
