Smoky Mountains Calendar of Events
Having fun in the Smokies this coming month couldn’t be easier! In addition to great Family Adventures, Pigeon Forge, Gatlinburg, Sevierville and Townsend TN are all bursting with outdoor activities your whole family will love.
June 1-2:
Pontiacs in Pigeon Forge Classic Car Show held at the Music Road Convention Center.
June 2:
Smoky Mountain Pottery Festival at the Townsend TN Visitors Center from 9 a.m.-4 p.m. Twenty-eight master potters will showcase their talents and sell their wares. Be sure to get your Pottery Festival t-shirt!
Visit the Townsend Visitors Center any day throughout the month for displays and artist exhibits including stained glass, basketry, art and woodcrafts, ceramics, and photography.
June 7-11; June 13-17; June 19; June 26-30:
It’s all baseball in Kodak! The Tennessee Smokies will be taking the field at Smokies Stadium at I-40 Exit 407. Come cheer on the 2011 MiLB Organization of the Year!
June 14-16:
It’s Chevy Supernationals time in Pigeon Forge. Gates open at 8 a.m. on Thursday, and the show concludes at 7 p.m. on Saturday. Come check out some of the cool Novas, Chevelles, Camaros, Pickups and more!
Visit the Sevierville Events Center for Parker’s Greatest Knife Show, an annual large-scale collectibles show.
June 14-17:
Father’s Day sales galore! Most outlet malls throughout Pigeon Forge and Sevierville will be holding sidewalk sales and featuring special discounts the entire weekend.
June 15-August 11:
7th Annual Smoky Mountain Tunes & Tales features street performers, singers, and storytellers beginning at 6 p.m. each evening along the Parkway in Gatlinburg. A truly entertaining experience! To top off these festival dates, Gatlinburg is bringing back free downtown trolley rides. Enjoy all the entertainment, shopping, and dining downtown Gatlinburg offers by hopping on and off the trolley as often as you’d like.
