GatlinBURGER Week

After a full day of outdoor activities at Rafting in the Smokies, you’re bound to work up an appetite. The good news is Gatlinburg is home to some of the best restaurants in Tennessee. During mid-September, the spotlight will be on the iconic American food staple: the hamburger. Sixteen Gatlinburg restaurants will be participating in GatlinBURGER Week to see who will capture the title of Burgermeister.

Overview of GatlinBURGER week

GatlinBURGER Week takes place during September 13-19, 2020. Participating restaurants take the classic hamburger to a whole new level as the competition gets underway. Each featured burger is only $7 during the event, so come hungry!

Pick up your passport

You’ll want to pick up the official GatlinBURGER Week 2020 passport for this culinary trip. Each restaurant you visit will stamp your passport, which you can turn in for a chance to win prizes. Passports are available at any of the participating locations, or you can download it and print it out at home.

Dine-in only

These specialty burgers are available for dine-in only. This event is popular, so you should expect to have some wait time before you are seated. Remember, you’re getting a gourmet burger for only $7, and demand will be high. Give yourself plenty of extra time, so you can enjoy your meal without having to rush through it.

Price and tipping

At the special price of $7 per burger, it is customary to tip at least 20% on your meal during the event. These burgers are normally between $10-$15, so now is your chance to try these mouthwatering creations for around half price.
