Gatlinburg has no shortage of great spots to eat and Guy Fieri, host of Diners, Drive-Ins, and Dives is about to add one more to the list! He has announced plans to open four new restaurants in the state of Tennessee, with Gatlinburg being one of the lucky locations. The Chicken Guy! restaurant will be in good company as Gatlinburg and Pigeon Forge are home to many other celebrity-owned venues such as Blake Shelton’s Ole’ Red, Paula Deen’s Family Kitchen, Jimmy Buffet’s Margaritaville, and Dolly Parton’s Stampede.
For those not familiar with Guy Fieri, he is most well known as the face of Food Network’s Diners, Drive-Ins, and Dives, where he traveled across the country visiting local restaurants. The show first aired in 2006 and quickly gained popularity with its road-trip, reality TV format.
Having traveled the country and visited the state of Tennessee many times, Guy had this to say in a statement: “I’ve shot [Diners, Drive-Ins and Dives] and eaten all over the state and I know how much the great people of Tennessee love their real deal chicken.”

The creation of Chicken Guy! is the result of Guy Fieri and Robert Earl (founder and CEO of Planet Hollywood) bringing to light their concept of a fast-casual chicken restaurant. The focus is on a simple menu based around chicken tenders and complemented by a variety of sauces. The menu consists of signature sandwiches, chicken tenders, sides, salad bowls, a kid’s menu, and dessert options.
The first location was launched at Disney Springs, the outdoor recreation complex located at the Walt Disney World Resort.
